Pattie LaCroix, MA
CEO and Senior Client Strategist

Pattie LaCroix has more than a decade of strategic planning and communications experience in Canada, the US, Africa and south Asia. She develops integrated consultation and engagement strategies with impact.

She has often been accused of thinking anything is possible. Her energy and passion for her work has opened new opportunities for her clients and infused their work with new energy and results.

She has provided strategic leadership for clients such as the Canadian Cancer Society, the Canadian Cooperative Association, Make Poverty History, Pier 21, the International Development Research Centre, the National Film Board of Canada, the Positive Women’s Network, YouthCO, the Children’s Health Foundation, the National Youth Homelessness Learning Community, The Doorway,  the Canadian Council for International Cooperation, USC Canada, the Global Call to Action Against Poverty and the National Peace Corps Association.

She is a frequent speaker at conferences focusing on the power of storytelling as a springboard to strategic planning, communications and engagement. Pattie is an Associate of the Centre of Excellence in Communications where she delivers the workshop "Why Stories Matter."

She has several years of fundraising experience within the non-profit sector and is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Based on Pattie’s extensive fundraising experience, she been named an ePhilanthropy Master Trainer (ePMT) by the ePhilanthropy Foundation based in Washington, D.C.

Pattie is a National Board Member of Canadian Crossroads International, an NGO which is building a constituency of global citizens committed to voluntarism, international development and social action. She has studied at the Centre of Narrative Studies in Washington, DC.

She was a contributing author to the recently published NonProfit Internet Strategies and writes a regular communications column for charityvillage.com.
